Each of the 30 selected Rainwater Scholars, who are Class of 2022 graduating seniors from Fort Worth public schools, demonstrate a commitment to leadership and serving others, high motivation, and a commitment to learning. We are proud to support their journey to college with $300,000 in scholarships.

Each of our Rainwater Scholars demonstrated:

  • Commitment to Leadership & Serving Others: Rainwater Scholars are passionate about helping others and creating social good within their school and broader community. Their values guide their decisions and behaviors.
  • High Motivation: Rainwater Scholars are internally driven. Despite the challenges they’ve faced in life, they find creative ways to build upon their strengths, overcome weaknesses, achieve their goals and make positive changes in their lives and the lives of others.
  • Commitment to Learning: Rainwater Scholars have an undying thirst for knowledge. They are committed to their studies and demonstrate that by taking a challenging course load, and maintaining good school attendance and behavior.
