Early Childhood & Family Support Funding

We believe that every child in our community deserves high-quality early learning experiences, both at home and in the classroom. The first five years of a child’s life are the most crucial for brain development, setting the stage for their long-term success in school and in life. One key strategy in this area is increasing access to affordable, high-quality early learning childcare classrooms and experiences. To achieve this, we prioritize funding organizations and programs that offer scalable and sustainable solutions to systemic issues affecting access to early childhood education and childcare. Our focus extends to the economic viability of childcare businesses and the ability of early childhood educators to earn a livable wage.

A second objective is to provide parents and primary caregivers with the experience and tools they need to ensure all children are growing up in nurturing home environments.  We prioritize programming that maximizes existing community and publicly funded resources to ensure families receive the support they require. Additionally, we focus on decreasing barriers to accessing resources that have a long-term impact on a family’s ability to achieve their goals.
